Are you trying to make a real money making blog? If yes, then you should first find a killer blog idea before researching about keywords, SEO, design, how to make money online etc. MAKE a long list of all the topics that come to your mind and keep shortlisting them untill you find your killer blog idea from a long list of ideas (UREKA!). b) Online Courses are also in demand with developing countries users ready to pay you a good amount. This field has already started, but has a long way to go.

 Whether you make a blog about caloric count of food products or muscle training tips,  healthcare blogs will always work. Concerns about healthcare are rising and people are turning to traditional methods too because of the side effects of antibiotics. So if you have good knowledge about healthcare, this is your area.

Energy

There are numerous employees of companies searching for information about energy resources and energy saving. This is a new area and if you can monetize it, you can reach there and if you get good number of subscribers to your blog, you can even become affiliates of huge companies that give you a big margin, maybe 100 times more profit per product than a normal blogger would make. These trends prove the fact that energy is being searched too much on the net.

Law 

People who practice law and who have not yet started blogging, they are missing a good chunk of dollars. Legal issies of all kind are high in demand.

Internet 

Anything you know about internet, that is blogging, SEO, bug fixing, networking can be your dream blog. This is a really vast field and you have to shortlist your idea but it's an easy field to get in and very competetive and tough to reach to the top.
